Sometimes I think we overlook all the hours of preparation that goes into all of our worship here at Saint Thomas More. There are many dedicated people who prepare our worship space for us to gather each weekend to celebrate the Sacred Mysteries of our Faith. The time has passed quickly and our Lenten journey has come to a close. Have we managed in some very small way to turn away from sin and be faithful to the Gospel? The devotion of the Divine Mercy novena is prayed from Good Friday to Saturday following Easter, the vigil of the Sunday of Divine Mercy for the mercy of a good life and death. Those praying the novena are asked to say a prayer of special intentions on each of the nine days, followed by the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. Click here for more information and a printable copy

The Blessing will take place on Holy Saturday, April 20th, at Noon in St. Thomas More church. Please bring your decorated wicker baskets filled with Easter bread (pascha), cheese, butter, ham, sausage, Easter eggs, salt, horseradish, bacon and an Easter candle. All are welcome!
